About the Role
A technology team is seeking an experienced Perl Developer to support the maintenance and modernization of complex legacy systems. This role suits candidates who excel in problem-solving, have a strong background in large-scale systems, and are comfortable implementing long-term structural improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance legacy systems using Perl.
- Refactor and modernize outdated codebases, introducing scalable improvements.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for effective database management.
- Collaborate with global teams, using English to interpret documentation and participate in technical discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience working with legacy systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Perl beyond basic scripting.
- Experience with large, complex platforms and system architecture.
- Strong command of SQL.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (required).
