About the Role
The Senior Developer / Architect will design, develop, and maintain OSS systems for a leading telecom provider. This role involves managing Oracle Assure1 installations, improving system stability and performance, and handling fault and performance data management. The candidate will participate in architecture reviews, proof-of-concept projects, and troubleshoot critical production issues. Strong technical expertise in Perl, PHP, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and database management is essential to drive scalable, high-performance solutions.
Technical and Functional Requirements

Expertise with Oracle Assure1

Proficiency in Perl and PHP programming

Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Knowledge of databases including MariaDB and InfluxDB

Skills in architecture design and implementation
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop OSS systems for a telecommunications client.

Manage OSS system requirements, covering both functional and performance aspects.

Oversee the current Oracle Assure1 setup, implementing improvements to enhance stability and performance.

Handle Assure1 system tasks related to fault management (alert handling) and performance data collection.

Evaluate and communicate trade-offs when selecting technical solutions.

Engage in proof-of-concept development and feasibility assessments.

Participate in Architecture Review Board discussions.

Address technical issues related to infrastructure and architecture faced by the team.

Troubleshoot critical production incidents to ensure system reliability.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Strong knowledge of Oracle and Application Integration Architecture (AIA)
