About the Role
TEKsystems is hiring an experienced Perl Developer to support both production and non-production environments. The role involves scripting, deployment, system monitoring, and client onboarding, with a focus on maintaining a clean and secure codebase. This is a hands-on technical position with responsibilities spanning operations, audit compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean Perl environment across development and production
- Develop and manage scripts using Perl and Linux shell
- Implement and support File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) processes
- Perform deployments and support configuration of Apache servers
- Work with operational teams to onboard and configure new clients
- Provide technical support and resolve client issues
- Collaborate with audit teams and prepare documentation
- Ensure database integration using SQL and PostgreSQL
- Leverage Azure cloud for infrastructure tasks
- Create formal responses for audit inquiries independently
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Perl
- Strong scripting and Linux command line skills
- Knowledge of File Integrity Monitoring processes
- Familiarity with Apache, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Azure environments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with audit teams and address compliance requirements
