About the Role
The AWS Designer role requires expertise in building chatbot and virtual assistant solutions using Amazon Lex, with strong experience in AWS Connect and contact center development. This position involves designing, developing, and integrating cloud-based solutions across AWS, Salesforce, and legacy systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver business solutions using AWS, Salesforce (Sales, Service Cloud Voice, Financial Cloud), and related platforms
- Develop, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure and applications
- Integrate Salesforce Service Cloud with AWS services, Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, MuleSoft, and other legacy applications
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and operations teams to define and implement AWS platform-based solutions
- Create design documentation, functional specifications, and support end-to-end testing
- Build chatbots using Amazon Lex with API integrations (Java/Python-based APIs)
- Develop software solutions in multiple languages, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable implementations
- Deploy applications in AWS using EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk, and manage configurations with CloudFormation templates
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software and infrastructure
- Perform infrastructure updates to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Implement monitoring and deployment tools for AWS environments
Required Skills
- Proven expertise as an AWS Designer with IVR and Amazon Lex bot development experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS Connect and Salesforce cloud integrations
- Proficiency in Jscript, Python, .NET, and Perl
- Strong understanding of source control systems (Git, SVN) and issue tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Knowledge of Selenium and Adobe AEM content management
- Prior contact center development experience (mandatory)
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new programming languages
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification
- Experience with MuleSoft integrations
- Background in enterprise application development using Force.com
- Familiarity with financial services and telecommunications industry solutions
