About the Role

A Senior Analyst is sought to optimize the use of supply chain systems by providing expert support, development, testing, and implementation services. This role involves close collaboration with supply chain stakeholders to introduce new features and improve operational efficiency in areas such as order management, inventory, warehouse operations, and invoicing. The Senior Analyst ensures software applications are correctly designed and configured while resolving any support issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide application support including troubleshooting, system design review, and configuration management.
  • Develop and enhance supply chain-related applications and processes in alignment with company strategy to unify operations.
  • Work closely with users and stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver technology solutions that boost process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to deliver required functionality.
  • Gain understanding of other company systems to provide comprehensive support across business processes linked to supply chain systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with order-to-cash application lifecycles in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent business process analysis, system design, and documentation skills.
  • Proficient communication skills to bridge business needs and technical solutions effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed IT environment and independently resolve urgent support issues.
  • Skilled in prioritizing work, managing expectations, and handling challenging situations.
  • Database expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle, including complex stored procedures.
  • Programming skills in Perl, C++, VB6, MQ queue manager, and COBOL.
  • Experience translating business requirements into software code for web or desktop platforms.
  • Familiarity with mission-critical applications in high availability environments.
  • Knowledge of help desk tools and support processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • College degree or equivalent experience (10+ years in IT or paper mill operations).
