About the Role
The Platform Engineering team is a multidisciplinary group with a security-first mindset, driving innovation across development and operations. We champion a DevSecOps culture with core principles centered on automation, testing, quality, and immutability via code. As a Platform Engineer I, you will help build self-service capabilities that enhance security, developer productivity, and time-to-market—leveraging automation and AI at the core. You’ll work closely with teams across the organization to ensure applications are designed for Continuous Delivery (CD) and architected for both cloud and on-premise platforms. This role is perfect for those passionate about developer productivity, cloud-native applications, and container orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze IT delivery processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose automation improvements.
- Contribute to building scalable, secure, and automated platform solutions.
- Support teams in designing applications optimized for Continuous Delivery (CD).
- Help define future toolsets to accelerate developer productivity and reduce operational overhead.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Ruby, Perl, Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
- Experience working in team environments, delivering solutions proactively and on time.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on execution and timely delivery.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git, Ansible, Chef).
- Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS environments.
- Knowledge of SQL and database-driven applications.
