About the Role

This position offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced software developer with a deep understanding of Python and Perl to contribute to cloud-based, data-driven projects. The role involves designing scalable solutions, integrating RESTful APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support complex systems in the financial domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Python and Perl
  • Design and optimize complex Oracle stored procedures using T-SQL
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs within microservices architecture
  • Leverage Microsoft Azure Cloud services, adhering to DevOps best practices
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet project goals in an Agile environment
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced setting
  • Contribute to financial data processing and regulatory reporting systems

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in Python and Perl
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and DevOps practices
  • 3+ years of T-SQL experience in Oracle environments
  • 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
  • Strong foundation in CI/CD, Git version control, and automated testing
  • Familiarity with financial systems, regulatory reporting, and accounting processes
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with Snowflake and enterprise Oracle databases
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
  • 2+ years of experience with GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives proactively
