Job Description
FOCUS: Bank of America is urgently seeking a Senior Python/Perl Engineer to join their team in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in Python development and the ability to read and work with Perl code. This role involves rebuilding existing functionality written in Perl and re‑writing it in Python, as well as developing APIs from scratch.
MUST HAVE:
- We need someone who will rebuild existing functionality that was written in Perl and re‑write in Python.
- They must have very strong hands‑on experience with Python development – looking for around 8-10 years’ experience.
- Does not care where they come from background wise – BOFA would just be a plus.
- They MUST be able to read Perl.
- They MUST be able to do hands‑on coding in Python.
- They MUST be able to create and build APIs from scratch.
- They MUST have strong experience and knowledge with MongoDB and MSSQL.
- A plus: if they have any AI experience, not a must.
