Position: Sr. IT Systems Administrator

Location: Las Vegas, NV (remote with occasional on-site visits)
Salary Range: $105,000–$152,000 (based on experience)

This is a remote-first role with periodic in-person responsibilities in Las Vegas. You’ll manage Rimini Street’s core infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, VMware, Linux, Windows, storage, backups, and more. The position emphasizes Linux systems and requires strong cloud and scripting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), servers, storage, and VMware environments

• Monitor and maintain backups, AD, DNS, DHCP, and print servers

• Use scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and Terraform to automate infrastructure tasks

• Support data center operations and equipment

• Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and security updates using tools like SolarWinds

• Participate in on-call rotation, off-hours maintenance, and lead infrastructure projects

Required Experience

• 7+ years in system administration, cloud management (Azure, AWS), and VMware

• Strong Linux and Windows server expertise

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, backups, scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl)

• Solid understanding of AD, DHCP, DNS, and infrastructure security

• Proven ability to document processes and manage projects independently

Desired Qualifications

• Professional certifications (Azure Admin, Linux+, LFCE, LPIC, etc.)

• Experience managing infrastructure through automation and scripting

• Ability to support both technical and business stakeholders effectively
