About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced SMART Systems Developer with strong command of C, Perl, and Shell scripting. The role requires hands-on expertise in SMART Systems—particularly in pricing modules—and Informix database management. This is a technically demanding position ideal for an independent contributor capable of delivering robust, efficient solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain applications using C, Perl, and Shell scripting
- Implement and enhance features within SMART Systems, with a focus on pricing functionality
- Execute database queries and optimization tasks using Informix DB
- Collaborate with various teams to define and implement solutions
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews and help refine development practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience with C, Perl, and Shell scripting
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SMART Systems (mandatory)
- At least 1 year of experience with Informix DB
- Deep knowledge of SMART Pricing modules (strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage responsibilities end-to-end
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and agile environments
